PhotoHayley

Hayley moved to waihi with her partner now husband, Evan, in 2008. She has been working at the Chook House for the last 5 years. Hayley's natural flair and love for fashion has made herself a name here in Waihi generating a loyal following of customers to be dressed by her both young and mature age groups.

Donna

Donna started out as a hair dresser but never really had a passion for it. What she really loved was clothes. So after marriage and having 3 boys she joined Chook in running the store. With a little push she managed to talk him into expanding into ladies wear. From then the ladies part of the store has grown. With a great eye, Donna is excellent at putting outfits together for customers of all ages. They have 4 beautiful grandchildren, 1 boy and 3 girls, whom are little rays of sunshine in their life.

Chook

Chook originally was a farming man starting at age 17. When 'Cooper and Wigs mens/boys outfitters' came up for sale, not really loving this career, Chook bought it from them at only 26 years old. After 40 years of experience this man knows everything when it comes to selling retail. Outside of work he enjoys watching/supporting his favourite rugby team, the All Blacks of course - following them all around the country side.
